Evan Fruehauf is an academic librarian by day and a "small scope" game developer by night.
Evan’s first video game was Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy on the PS2. He went on to be a passionate creator in Halo 3’s Forge Mode, LittleBigPlanet’s custom level editors, and a consistent manager of hazardous Rollercoaster Tycoon Parks. Overtime he began dipping his toe into the indie scene through games like Bastion, Guacamelee, and Stardew Valley. In recent years, in between Helldivers 2 and Mario Kart World, Evan has begun diving headfirst into game design both in tabletop and virtual environments. He game masters homebrew TTRPG modules for 5e, Mothership, and Shadowdark, and has recently begun developing his own html video games to share on itch.io.
Fathom is his first game, built solo for Nautical Jam 2026. You can check it out below!
